Its interesting he doesnt bash the decision, he defends the right to make the decision, and he uses words like "support" but he never says it was the right move, or that he would make the move.
He's right on about everything else though, it needs to be in the spotlight, it needs to be the marquee dual event, and really isnt to far from getting to that point. The idea of qualifying and making the duals mandatory is one I find interesting, if they did it conference-wise or just regionally I think it would be extremely interesting.
He also makes me reconsider my stance on penn state. They are extremely young they won a weak virginia duals and had a great performance at a tough southern scuffle. But really they are still unproven and as young as they are, they've yet to show they can standup to the rigors of the whole season (its no secret caels teams have a history of fading), and if DSJ had placed at Midlands, or one of the heavies stepped up and Iowa had won the tournament we would be talking about the hawks in the same light as PSU.
