Returning Skutt Champ All About Team - Omaha News Story - KETV Omaha
From article:
OMAHA, Neb. -- The Nebraska State Wrestling Tournament started way back in 1928, but only 16 wrestlers have won four straight state titles. Three competitors have chance of breaking into that elite group this weekend.
Thomas Gilman of Omaha Skutt is also competing on Friday in the semis. The future Iowa Hawkeye is 44-1 on the year, but his primary goal is to help Skutt reclaim the state title.
"Last year I won, but the team didn't win and it felt like I lost," Gilman said. "If I win and the team doesn't win, I don't even want to say it's bittersweet, because it's not. It's bitter."
