Let's get this straight; Fuller & Gatens did not go to Barta! Barta met individually with each player this week.

We probably never will know what was discussed at those meetings. All the speculation centers on Fuller & Gatens but Barta met with every player. However, it does appear that Barta did not like what he heard.

Also, don't expect a decision from Barta until the middle of next week at the earliest. He is tied up in Indy on Big Ten business through tomorrow. Monday is the NCAA women's tournament seeding; he will not overshadow Bluder and her program by making an announcement on Monday.

Would you be willing to outline your theory Storm? I've been moderately following things, and I know you disagree with the KCJJ's reports. But I'm not sure I exactly follow what you believe may/did happen. If your not at liberty or would simply prefer not to that is fine as well. It seems apparent something happened.
 
I'm tired of the one or two word responses by some as if they know all the answer, but provide nothing.

This entire thing has become laughable.
 
I don't think storminspank wants to come out and say because his sources have told him to stay quiet on it. Really though he's onto something. Especially with a players parent. Its sad in that it came to that point.
 
Can't comment just eggs us on to want more information. Although some of time spank is getting asked directly. Partly true just creates more questions for me also. I understand if nothing can be said though. I'm sure spank will be the first to let information out if he is able to.

Everyone is really antsy to figure out what is going on. Including me.
 
All right, if what I posted was only partially true; then Gatens and his parents did instigate the meeting with Barta. That meeting precipitated Barta's individual interviews with the other players.

That is the only thing that could be wrong with the post!
 
Why would spank know anything? His location is listed as Minnesota.

I'm not trying to be a smark-aleck...but what exactly is his connection that gives him inside information?

And if he knows something, why not just say it?

I know, it's impossible for me to know anything about what's going with me being, what, 3 hours away. I mean, with e-mail, text messaging, and the Internet, how could I know what's going on. It's crazy, huh? Magic maybe? Perhaps Pony Express?

If I said it once, I've said it a billion times. Everything I can say, I do. I don't withhold information to be an a##. I give as much info I can. If that's not good enough, I'd suggest you click the ignore button next to my name you don't have to read my posts. I think that's fair enough.

But to answer your question without being a huge jerk, I don't have one connection to the information I get, it comes from multiple sources. It might come from a player, it might come from a booster, it might come from a recruit... there are several people that I get information from. That said, I'm not an insider (and have never claimed to be). Again, if you don't want to read what I have to put on the site, click the ignore button next to my name. I understand.

Kinda touchy aren't we? I posed a legitimate question and said I wasn't being a smart-aleck. There are a lot of people on this (and other) board who claim to "know things".

Tell me this: is Lick coming back next year or not?

I have no idea if Lickliter is coming back or not. No idea.
