I am really hoping that Fran can get Jess Settles on board as assistant, Jess has always been one of my all-time favorite Hawks! His grit and work ethic are legendary.

Are we reading a bit too much into this? How was he supposed to respond to this question? No, Fuller is not excited. I simply do not understand how this is at all a guarantee that Fuller will be back this year. Good news? Yes. Determinative? No.

I agree that there should be caution assuming that Fuller is guaranteed to return now. I probably should have couched it more.

In the absence of any news on fuller, I took this to be a positive..but it could be just coachspeak also.

Kenyon Murray has a pretty good paying job currently and has a couple of boys that he wants to make sure he is around to watch grow and help play sports. As was said, he is not interested in becoming an assistant. I know KCRG point blank asked if he would be interested if his name came up and he said sure I'd be interested, but I think he felt if he said no he would look as if he was not supportive of the program.

I think FM would be smarter than to say Fuller is excited if he wasn't pretty confident he was staying. He would have a lot of explaining to do otherwise.

On another note, I don't understand limits on visits for players that are already signed. Guess it's so as to protect against a academic or other hijinx?
