Im pissed. What a wasted season. So much potential. So much let down.

Lets vent.

This season I was worried. Then i was expectant. Then I was let down.

Im sick and tired of this offense. Sure it has shown flashes. But the BS keeps on coming.

Ferentz is a fool. Suck an arrogant coach. Especially when he hasnt really done much except sign stupiud contracts.

Im about done.

IM FRUSTRATED

I am so frustrated at this damn program. Its over. KF has done his time, Lets move on.

And the damn basketball program offers no relief. And wrestling? Damn, how can we go so long without a NC. We were unstoppable.

hire some damn coaches, Barta

You're late to the party, there were 83 threads on this topic over the weekend. You must have just watched the game on DVR. Pretty sure people are moving on ready for w W against Illinois

It's coming back to earth. Iowa will eek out 2 more wins and finish 8-5, par for the course for the last 40 years of Iowa football. Its frustrating when we show glimpses of so much more, but this is who Iowa is and has always been.

My frustration was alleviated somewhat by what transpired yesterday afternoon. Our eighth grade middle school team that my youngest boy plays on came back from a 37-12 halftime defecit and won 57-53 in league play. The other team stayed in a 2-3 zone and we moved the ball much better in the second half, forced turnovers and sped them up.

I know, grasping at straws. But sometimes it's the simple things that put a smile on your face and make you forget other losses for a little while. Other moral of the story. If you play a 2-3 zone, you better know what you're doing.

We might squeak by Illinois, but Nebraska will roll us in Kinnick, they have athletes on offense, and will simply outscore us, as the turnover machine Tommy Armstrong is no longer there to help us. Our offense will stop themselves so it doesn't matter how bad the Nebraska defense is, and actually Nebraska is improving, we are getting worse.

I'd hate to see you on here Saturday if we lose to the Illini!

Between feisty Peppermint Patty and crabby Lucy, Charles Schulz actually caught some flak when his animated holiday specials started hitting the air in the mid '60's. His portrayal of females in positions of power was, at the time, a far cry from Father Knows Best, Leave It To Beaver, Andy Griffith, etc. Before you knew it, however, shows like I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, Nanny and the Professor and the Flying Nun were on TV and showed women in positions of power. It reflected the trend toward two income families and women making financial decisions that is still going strong today. It also showed that Schulz's instincts were correct at where society was headed.

Yeah, I don't think I would want to be Illinois or Nebraska. The frustration has hit a fever pitch and now its time to just take it out on the field.
I expect to see some seriously hard hitting, pancake blocking games.
Win or lose they are going to know and feel that they played us.
Unleash the nasty.

LOL, Just like they are prepared for bowl games? The players have quit on this idiot. When Fant is on the sideline all game and shaking his head in disgust, you can't tell me other players don't know what's going on.

**** Fant. This is a team, it's not about one person.
Sorry all you Fant lovers, TJ blocks better and TJ runs better routes. In single te sets TJ plays.
Why? Because it gives us the best chance to win.
So yeah I do think the team knows what the gig is.
Best player plays.
You don't like it? To bad.
Maybe instead of counting that 1st round money he should have worked on his game as hard as TJ did.
That's how successful programs are built.
Guess he could have went somewhere else as an ol.
Guess he could have gone somewhere else and not been played until he was a Jr.
Guess he could have gone where they rarely target te. You think he would have that many TD's anywhere else?? Please.
He should count his blessings sit down and STFU and that goes for his brother too.
This is a team!!!!!
If I ever caught a player standing there shaking their head in disgust, they wouldn't suit up. Because that is a terrible team mate.

Yeah except Lucy always calling Charlie Brown a "blockhead" was a foreshadowing of things to come as far as female-male relations.
