Seth Tuttle, A 6'8 forward from Sheffield has orally committed to play for UNI. In another article Fran says he is still recruiting for Iowa's 2010 class and plans to add one and mabey two more players.

He reffed one of my sons basketball tourney games this spring. I hope he's a much better player than ref, because he's a horrible ref. To be fair, I'm not sure why you would have a HS Junior ref an 8th grade game that has kids almost as big as the ref.

Oh, and good luck to Seth. He seemed like a good kid when we were at the tourney at West Fork.

What significance is there to todays LOI date? Clearly, schools can still add players until fall semester like Lick added Cully,so really today is not all that important in terms of adding additional recruits, right?

The significance is that any agreement signed after today would not be binding on the player.

Then again, for certain players, nothing is binding. :)

Still no guard names mentioned to add for 2010 only bigs....maybe somebody else is transferring although I have no inside info.

He is going to have to land at least one guard and wing prospect for 2011 that can help right away but again the majority of names being discussed are bigs.

If the Hawks don't sign Coco, which imo is a no brainerfor next season, I don't see them signing anyone else for 2010. as there no quality players out there that are all that interested in coming to Iowa.
