No news is good news with Jacobs. He's fresh off an official visit to Ohio State and he didn't walk away with a commitment.

Apparently Kirk finally gets the gravity of keeping his top recruits, as he is putting on the full court press and bringing Coach Parker along with him for an in-house visit on Thursday. Let's hope he seals the deal and Jacobs enrolls in a few weeks!

Along with Wallace............I'd take it as a good sign as well unless it's desperation time (or on the fence) and time for the full court press. One report had one of the parents still hoping for OSU but I can understand that.

How about that! It sounds like he's solid with the Hawks and will turn down his home state sketchy Buckeyes! Job well done by Kirk, as well as coach Parker and the rest of the staff to prevent their top commit from de-committing, which has plagued us in years past. Sounds like the staff has put a new emphasis on giving the kids the attention they need long after their commitment. Big strategy improvement.
