Fran's first Big Ten road win will be against?

I'm thinking if they contuniue playing the way they have been that the win will come at Minnesota.

j/k. I've been impressed on how Iowa has looked the last few games. I think they'll get a big upset before the season is over.

I think we take a step backwards tommorrow. Some of these young guys are going to find out how hard it is to win in the Big 10 on the road... let alone against the 11th ranked team in the nation.

I think we'll be waiting nearly a month for our first Big 10 road victory... Feb 5th @ Indiana

I don't know, there are a lot of us that have been questioning weather or not this team would compete with some of the better teams and so far they have proven they can hang at home. This team has abosolutely nothing to lose and the staff does such a good job preparing them that they just play the game.
Do we take a step backwards tomorrow, I hope not, but it would not surprise me at all. Purdue is a team that has looked like it is on a mission this season. Moore/Johnson have been outstanding and Smith has surprised everyone with his ability to shoot. Purdue is also getting healthy and that just makes them better. Ohio State is the best team in the BT right now, but Purdue may be the best team when all said an done.
I don't think we will wait until Feb for our first road win. From what I have seen out of PSU and Michigan, we have great chances to win one or both of those. I know PSU knoced off MSU today, but MSU is not a great team right now and until their big guys play to their star rankings, they will struggle to win consistently.
 
It may be wishful thinking, but we played Ohio State so dang well at home. Maybe we take a revenge gut-shot and beat them.

I predict Iowa will beat Ohio State in Carver next year... you heard it here first! Can you dig this post up next year when it happens?
 
Funny stuff ibahawkeye! You just have to love the direction this Hawkeye basketball team is heading. They are an entertaining team to watch again. That win in Indiana was great because the Indiana fans showed up in great force expecting a rare win and thought they would get it. The Hawkeyes are making more than a few B10 fans take notice. Wisconsin game predictions? Does Iowa have a shot? I think it all depends on Leuer... get him in foul trouble and Iowa wins. They can do this too with Cartwright driving, Basabe hitting the boards, and Cole's muscle. Get Leuer in foul trouble and beat Wisconsin.
 
I like the way you think greg. Let's hope Iowa can keep this enthusiasm, energy, and (dare I say) confidence going.
