Fran's biggest win at Iowa....We are Back!

Free throw shooting won it. Gonna need better guard play if hawks wanna win anything. Great game for forwards as usual.
 
I seriously dreamed this win the day after Fran was hired. We won by a couple after a missed late shot. No one cares? Of course. Kinda creepy? Yes. But, whatever.

Iowa still wins by 5.

Honestly I agree, probably the biggest win of Fran's career at Iowa, great job to him and the players.
 
Fran totally out coached Roy Williams. That's kinda cool. It was so weird to watch us slow the game to a grinding halt and for it to actually work.

pretty sure we're going to see a lot more of the slow down game this year. Not exciting but if it wins games so be it. This team is pretty good defensively.

Great observation. Our size and depth makes us better in the half court. No reason to run and gun

Yep, need more consistent guard play to run-n-gun IMO. If our strength is in the front court, then a more half-court style might make the most sense. I'm good with whatever wins games.
