Frank Martin: Would you take him at the end of the season?

If he cheated in High School, there's a good chance he'll cheat in college!

Have you been around big city athletics very much? This stuff is sadly very common and it really doesn't have much of an effect on what he is doing at a solid D-1 gig.

A lot of what I hear is name calling and innuendo. He looks like he's in the mob and he was also called scum from Huggins' shoes. He is a pretty nice guy if you follow him. His players REALLY care about him and vice versa. There is no hint of anything improper in his recruiting or any possible violations.

He did have some issue in Florida as a high school coach which another poster details in this thread, but that was 10-15 years ago. Is he the only person that doesn't get a second chance?

There really is no hint of anything wrong with how he runs his program. He looks kind of out of control sometimes on the bench, but he has only ever had two technicals called on him as a head coach and he never whines at officials or about officials. He gets a lot of talent.

I guess what I am saying is if you didn't say his name and you just looked at what he has done, why wouldn't you want him? So, other than the little incident, and that's what it was, a little incident, a few weeks ago with him and that player on his bench, there is nothing wrong with anything he has done there.

I would be curious as to why some people are so against the thought of it (Jon, in particular) that just gave a quick answer. People say you can't recruit top talent at Iowa. He could and he runs a clean program.

With all of the threads re coaching I can't believe I have to try so hard to get real feedback from people on this.
