Francis Even Made The Washington Post This Morning

What a great ambassador for the U and its basketball program. Truly a class act. Too bad he can’t coach himself to an overall winning record in the B1G.
 
Any publicity is good publicity?

I suspect Franny is going to be a bit lighter in the pocket book. Could he could a timeout for a game from the league for chasing the official down the hall?

I don't mind the T. Coaches get T ed up. It happens. But, if he is chasing the refs down the tunnel ala Bo Pelini, he probably needs a wrist slap.....

He's not a cheater, just incompetent...

Tuesday’s incident also the second time McJunkins has been in the news this week. On Monday, the Atlantic 10 took unspecified disciplinary action against McJunkins and fellow referees Lamar Simpson and Nathan Farrell after they allowed the game clock to start too soon during a play at the end of the La Salle-St. Bonaventure game on Feb. 20. The Explorers lost, 62-60, after the clock started before they could inbound the ball with 3.1 seconds remaining and the officiating crew failed to notice and correct the mistake. La Salle Athletic Director Bill Bradshaw told the Philadelphia Inquirer that the Atlantic 10 apologized to him for the referees’ error.




Maybe that incompetent mofo should be suspended...
 
That all said, coaches swear. OSU's coach said clearly at least 3 times on camera that it was a "Bullshit call" "Two bullshit calls" He was right in the refs face saying that and was live on camera. Did not have to be much of a lipreader

If people heard half the shit coaches said in every high school dugout and locker room there'd be no sports left.

I just don't think it's a great look for the school overall to get beat by 20 and go after the refs in front of people.

A. He got T’d up for the aftermath of that.
2. The cursing isn’t the issue, the cheater comment is.
III. Fran gonna Fran. Barta probably will extend his contract.

He actually did not get T’d up the first time that happened. It was a few minutes later after a TV timeout. He worked for his T and Fran got his in less than a second.
