Fran vs. Dan: Everything So Far

Just so you know. Dan Dakich is not as bright as this picture would indicate.
 
Dan Dicklick calling Fran Frannie. Dan ******** needs to be fired, he's the furthest thing from a professional. He was a failure as a player and a bigger failure as a coach and now he's topped himself as a complete failure as an announcer. He failed in his marriage. Has he succeeded in anything in his life. Oh yeah, he succeeded at being a failure.
 
I hadn't been aware of much of this since I didn't pay much attention to the post game junk after a game like that. All I'll say is it seems a real stretch to believe Woodbury has the mindset to start poking at players' eyes INTENTIONALLY at that point in the game and at this point in his career. He's never been accused of ever having a hint of this type behavior before that I'm aware of, so it makes zero sense to me why he would employ that type of tactic now. To intentionally poke an opposing player in the eye is about as radical as it gets. Is it possible he did it on purpose? I guess almost anything is possible in this world, but I believe it falls more into the highly unlikely catagory. One thing that is a dead certainty in all of this is Dakich's comments were absolutely intentional and absolutely meant to 'injure'. To make the totally unfounded charges he did, considering he knows nothing about Adam Woodbury as a person or about his values, tells me more about Dakich and the type of person HE is. It's a pretty sad image. That's all I have to say on this saga. Time to start getting ready for Purdue.
 
This story needs to be done with so the team can focus and move on. I just would of liked to have see Fran have some kahunas, calmness and integrity and gone on Dakich's radio show and confronted the guy and put this thing to rest. Might of helped gain allot more respect from his players and motivated them knowing their coach wasn't going to tolerate some *ss in the media calling one of his boys a coward.

Going on his show would have failed for Fran. The host of the show controls everything, he could cut Fran off at any point, cut to a commercial just as Fran was making a point, etc.. Besides, I fear for the safety of DD if Fran loses his temper. As for Dakich calling out Fran for his treatment of players I'm sure DD never was angry with his players when he pseudo-coached.
 
Doesn't Dakich have a kid that plays for someone in the BIG is it Michigan? I think he's like the 11th man or so. I don't get it how a guy who's played coached and fathered a kid in the BIG doesn't realize how out of line the things he's said are. If anyone said the same things about his kid and didn't know him like he doesn't know Woody he'd just blow up. It just makes him so much less credible then he already was... I just hope the rest of the schools dislike him as much as we do.
 
Fran knew what he was doing. Everyone is talking about this and not the turd the Hawks left on the floor in Madison. He took the heat off his team, a play stolen from the Hayden Fry playbook.
 
Maybe Fran is perpetuating this feud to steer everyone's thoughts away from the actual ***-kickin that occurred in the game.

The major concern I have with this whole thing is that it is likely that refs will be watching Adam very closely for at least the next few games, and students are going to be pretty rough on him at away games. Also a little bit disappointing that no other BIG coaches have been critical of Dakich.
 
Fran went to war for his guys, and you bet they'll take notice. Fran's last couple comments probably got under Danny boys skin big time.

Clever. Misery loves company. Is the mass exodus of the football team have more to do with cyfans like you. Are you one of the followers of mesa where you can't post anything negative about clown football so you come over here to hide out?
