It was bad officiating...but come on man...you gotta keep it together...the team totally unraveled after those bench techs.
 
I actually wish he would have taken the ball and thrown it into the stands....this game was bs.
 
I haven't complained about refs in a bball game in a long time...this game was absolute ******* *********. The refs took complete control of this game. It's not even debatable.
 
Worst officiated game I have ever seen. I'm at the dome right now and even the UNI fans around me are admitting it's ridiculous.
 
The free throw disparity right now is 25-6 in favor of the team that has taken 20 of its 42 shots from 3-point range. Somebody explain that to me.
 
I don't mind him getting tossed as much. The game was already out of hand. But the first tech has to be avoided. It's a two point game and this club is as fragile as it gets. No way they have the toughness to play through that stretch. Caff has to keep his composure there and give his club a chance in the last 10 minutes.

But I agree with everyone. This officiating crew is as bad as I've seen. Brutal.

Had they just called the tech on Fran, we would have been fine. It's two points; it happens. I have never seen a ref call a tech on the head coach and on the assistant on the same play, and then call a gray-area tech on a player who doesn't say a damn word to anyone on the next play. Ridiculous.

Sometimes you gotta fight for your players. they were playing hard and staying in the game despite being homered. One t woulda been no biggie and might have motivatedhis team even more. The t's by the assistant and McCabe were not needed. I love fran's passion. Better than watchin Lick just sit there or Alford clap constantly. Tonite was an absolute joke. Jacobson outta be ashamed to win like that, not meaning he had anything to do with it, but the game should be decided by the players. period. Sorry but needed to vent some frustration without waking up my kid's with F-bombs. LOL

When have you ever seen the bench and coach T'd up on same play. If it's just one like it shoulda been we woulda came out fired as hell. Pathetic. White just got ball thrown at his face and no call but Mccabe is t'd up. Horse poop
 
You guys know why it was officiated this way right?

How games did Rick Hartzell do with Higgins and the other dude? They are his buddies. I'm not saying it was fixed, but damn did they show favoritism to UNI.
 
If we would have kept our cool, we could all be talking about how we "played through the adversity," and came up with a "huge win." Instead, we'd all like to blame a couple refs for our teams inability to keep its composure. We barely have a fighting chance even without the meltdowns!
