And yet, Rutgers basketball has been irrelevant for as long as I can remember. Just a string of bad coaches or maybe something else?

Like the fact that it's a commuter school in a pro sports market place and that no one in Jersey grows up as die hard Rutgers fans. Or that that hotbed of recruiting talent is also just a mere three and a half hours from Georgetown and Maryland, and even closer to Villanova and Temple and UConn.

Child please.

C Vivian has a good program over there. There is precedent for Iowa losing top flight coaches to Rutgers.

Wonder how Margaret would feel about moving back to the East Coast. Quite a bit farther away from her parents and Iowa City is one of the best cities in America to raise children.....

I think Fran is more committed to the Hawks than The Hair was to New Mexico.....

Meh, a school/fans should be more worried about if your coach if he is not in demand by other programs..
