My only concern is balance between minutes for the present and minutes for the future. Marble is not a very strong option as a one possession scorer. But, who takes that shot next year? Would seem a good idea to develop some close-out scoring plays for someone who will be on the team next year and give them a chance to run it once or twice this season, particularly when you are on a 0 - for with your current options.

We can agree that HawkBBFan is a moron/troll. But let's not kid ourselves, we were in contention. We are not anymore.
And if I'm wrong and we are still in contention, there's no denying that the premise still stands: Fran is not a good in-game coach. Bo Ryan is a good in game coach. For me, saying that is like stabbing myself in the heart with a rusty blade. But it's so true

He should NOT have been on the floor period. Fran said postgame the two options were Josh and Zach.
Neither Dolph or Bobby questioned why
1. McCabe would be the option ahead of Marble?
2. Why Gesell wasn't even on the floor because he would have been an option ahead of Zach. Agree?
I believe White was on the floor. Correct? Why? Why not Marble, Ogelsby, Gesell, Uthoff and finally Gabe for a possible rebound (even though the chance of a long rebound are greater in that situation). White did you no good in the game at that point (can't shoot from outside) and McCabe shoud have been sitting as well. Period.
The love affair Fran has with McCabe is downright baffling. Very frustrating.
Bad Coaching at the end of games guys. Look at our record in these situations. It is not coincidental.
We run up the score and our stats against inferior teams. But when we play good games against quality opponents, we come up small. Our seven losses are constantly portrayed as "quality losses". I fully understand that they are that indeed. But it also says something that we've played seven good teams and lost each game by 5 points.

Unfortunately, post game comments from Fran confirm it was the coach's decision. Ugh.
The zone was doing well for the most part, but toward the end Wisky was working it so it would have been a good time to change defenses.

Hard to overcome that kind of shooting by Connie. Lots of head scratchers in this game. I still contend that McCabe's minutes should be minimised.

McCabe must be a very likable kid that Fran feels bust his @SS and obviuosly loves. I don't get it either..But it won't be an issue next year.
