Just listened to him for a few minutes. Looking forward to raising a family in IA City and wants to coach in Big 10.

I like him as a people person. He inherited worse problems at Siena and got it done if you go look back. He has turned programs around before and that may well be why he and Barta beleives he is the guy. Pretty intense on the sidelines, up tempo style, aggressive defense.

I am on board and really look forward to see what he can do. He needs to build the right staff, but I think good changes are coming.

Give him a chance. Both he and Barta have to know what they have to do. No surprises here.

Those are the pros, I didn't get into the cons.
I'm sure we'll be fine with Fran, it's just the initial skepticism.

Sure, I thought Lick was a great person also a real likeable guy and all. But seriously, we went to the mid major ranks again for a coach and this is the best we can do? Someone who was at a mid major for the past 25 years and is 50 years old? Sure we hired Davis when he was 49 and if we get the same results, great! If not then Barta better be gone!
