Licks accomplishments (or lack there of) are absolutely irrelevant at this point in time as he is no longer part of the program. Sorry, but I hate comparing previous coaches with current ones. Licks gone, the past is the past. The only thing that matters now is what Fran does. And honestly, if its not considerably better at this point then it was when Lick left, then its time to move on again as zero progress has been made.
I like what Fran's done. Was never a Lick fan. But the fact is at this point in the game there's absolutely no reason to compare the two.

I guess, if my rationale is that of a loser, then so be it. I didn't bring Lick into the conversation, nor did I say that his results were comparable to the current coaches. As a fan that understands program building, one has to look at progress. Is progress being made? Yes. For that I am extremely happy. And yes, real coaches do compare where the program was and where they want it to go. (Am I really debating this?) Wowza!!!!
