Anyone else catch Izzo and Fran exchanging a few words shortly after the T and Gatens frustration foul. It looks like Izzo is telling Fran to shut his mouth...Check it out on the DVR. This looks like a heated battle for years to come...

He was NOT telling Fran to shut his mouth....he was talking to one of his players.....NO WAY does Izzo or the majority of any other coaches yell at each other in a game.

lol They weren't talking to each other. Izzo was yelling at one of his players to "keep his mouth shut".

Izzo is a duche and leads a band of thugs. Don't any of you remember the double flex a year or so back from one of their players?

Izzo will get his in the end, this is a good reminder to the younger Iowa players of what MSU and Izzo think of the Iowa program.

There is no coach I dislike more than Izzo and my dislike started from day one of his tenure at MSU. He does nothing but complain the whole game.

Has anyone ever noticed how much he not just touches officials, but just outright grabs them to talk, talking being a little toned down for what he really does, how do the officials just let that go.

He learned from the best on how to whine from Heathcoate; apple didn't fall far from the tree on that one.

Is there any other coach that anyone dislikes more than Izzo? A lot of people will say Ryan, but the media isn't so much in love with Ryan as they are Izzo and that makes it worse for me.

I am glad I didn't see the game, but after reading some postings, I wish I would have been able too.

I think it's more of a case of jealousy...everyone would take Izzo at Iowa in a heartbeat. He's an amazing coach and it's evidenced by the fact that more often than not MSU is nationally relevant come late march.

Izzo is still mad that Iowa fired Lick. Remember his comments blasting the university for canning him?

After watching Iowa under Lickliter for a couple of years, I bet every Big 10 coach was sad to see him go. You honestly think Izzo cared about Lick? Maybe, but I DO NOT. I think Izzo was upset that Iowa was attempting to remove itself from Big10 doormat. He loved Lickliter, two easy wins per year, in conference, he'll take it.

I'm guessing that once Iowa becomes relevant,Fran will achieve "most hated" status with other teams fans.

MSU can keep him there are a lot of other coaches I would rather have at Iowa.

I can't wait to see these teams play once Fran has his players and they have had a chance to play in his system for a few years. I'm seeing exactly what alot of Siena fans posted about Fran. They loved him and still do. They know we are in for a good ride.

I wish I had something more productive to say...man, is it me or are there some really dumb posts being initiated on this forum? Fran is just what Iowa needs/needed and he will get the job done.
