Question, I was looking at the points scored/allowed and was blown away by Nebraska's line. In conference play Nebraska finished with as many points scored as they had allowed, yet finished 1-8. Overall they score more points than they allowed yet finished 3-9. Has that ever been done before?

I thought this ten win season would leave me feeling lacking. But the Minny did us a solid. Going to Indy put that feeling to bed.
If, and when, we pull off the win on Saturday, we will be coming up Roses.

All that stat shows is that they had a ton of close games. They're the only team in history to lose 9 games in a season by a single digit.
And to be honest, the only reason it's 239/239 is because they beat the living shit out of a profoundly horrible NW game. Throw that one out and it's a whole lot closer to normal.

I'd say probably not since they set the record for single score games.
Stat of the day - what Nebraska did this season was. . . unique.

So the fuskers finally did something nobody has ever done. Quite remarkable! Congrats to the great fusker nation for their new record. What a feat it was and I'm certain only the great fuskers are the only team to pull this off. Hahahahahahahha and to think they had a record crowd to watch it all happen. 25 years from now they'll still be talking about it............well maybe not.

I actually hope it is a record for this very reason. Now they are forever (probably) attached to a shitty record that no one should be proud of.

I especially like this part:

As a fan, like many of you, who have seen Nebby beat the hawks bad over the years it is so nice to have this win streak and to win 7 of the last 8 games. And it has been Iowa kicking nebby's ass a bunch in this streak.
