Fox game replay in 30 minutes; and a rules question

Also before the 4th and short on the first drive the spot was terrible. I rewatched that many times. At the worst it should have been 4th and inches. They spotted it nearly a yard back. That was terrible.

On 2 bad-ger touchdown drives they had been tackled short of the line to gain, but they got terribly generous spots. The refs clearly helped the bad-gers score 14 points with bad spots, and 7 less for Iowa. That also could have made the difference.

For such an important game the big 10 needs to send better officiating crews than that. Such a game at least deserves a crew that can spot the ball correctly.

I thought a player couldn't be blocked into a punt that was rolling on the ground, why didn't they review that? He clearly was pushed right before he hit the ball..

He wasn't facing the ball and was pushed backwards and inadvertently brushed the ball with his foot. I thought, at the time, that the referees would notice that and simply give the ball to the Hawks at that spot.....

The Captain should have registered a MotherFucking complaint about that and demanded a review.....

Same as ruling the ball being knocked out of Hornys hand and being ruled an incomplete pass. Ferentz should have been screaming at the zebras.....

Wonder how the game would have played out if BYU had lost at Camp Randall. Losing gave the badgers an opportunity to correct the mistakes that led to the loss.....

The badger linebackers, especially Connolly, I believe, had some huge stops which hurt considerably.....

It certainly seemed that Horny made almost every third down pass quite easily.....

Nonetheless it was an extremely entertaining game and hopefully the mistakes made will be dealt with and corrected.....

I am starting to feel sorry for the other rodent team in the B1G.....

I wrote in the game thread that was a fumble and should be reviewed but it wasn't. Next play was the completely unforced Greoneweg fumble. Groeneweg was gun shy and flustered the rest of the game and the Beyer play may not have happened if he weren't. He may have fielded that punt. Also, there should be a yell to get away but that may not be reliable with all the noise.

There seemed to be a lot of confusion during that play. It seemed surreal at the time.....

Common sense should have prevailed. With that many badgers around the ball, Back Off, and let the play come to a stop.....

If the ball had been ours, we would have had at least 4 plays to use up the game time.....
