Four ex Iowa tight ends have big days in NFL

Just got done watching a bunch of old hawk videos on Youtube for motivation on a Monday and unless the play calling and execution don't change CJF will not be seeing any pro fields. I think we have loads of talent at TE from a few different individuals this year didn't show me enough to have any confidence. Next years QB needs to make friends with them real quick.

Lol, CJ in the NFL. That's a laugh!

#1 he's slow.
#2. He gets hit by a 185 lb DB and falls to the ground every single time
#3. He needs to get passes in his direction so people can actually see if he's any good.

This is the most critical weakness, IMHO, and that's not on CJ.

CJ needs to take ballet. Seriously.

The guy needs to work on footwork and balance. A stiff wind knocks him over right now.

Not to mention hes 6-7 265-275 depending on the game you were watching and he cant break a tackle. If hes in the NFL he's going to have one heck of a video editor and an agent who can turn a turd into a diamond.

The guy isn't as slow as you may think. When he gets into the open field, he can pull away from pursuers.

I will give you the fact that he did go down fairly easily often, but it's gotta be tough when everyone dives right at your knees/legs. No body took him head on.

IMO, not having the big year was a blessing for the kid. He'll be able to work with Doyle, getting stronger and (more importantly) better balance.

CJF will play in the NFL. He's a great blocker and has decent hands.

Feel free to mark it down.

There I wrote it on a mouses behind. As long as GD is leading the offense he is playing in he wont be. He may make a practice squad for a few hours but the only playing he will be doing on Sunday is with his thoughts about why he didn't transfer.

Yeah cuz having a bad year will really impress the scouts. Nice post.

It may be the boxed wine talking here, but I don't really think you enjoyed my post. Yawn...

If he had a big year, then he might have bought into the hype that he should bolt (potentially busting, or spending more time on the bench than is needed). Not having that year will give him more time to develop and get better. As I stated, he has qualities that will get him to the next level, but he isn't ready yet (IMO).
