KF said he would be eligible to play in the game but he won't. So his academic issues aren't that severe.

So maybe just maybe Adam does everything right and had a 3.0 last year. And then suddenly KF got a D Slip across his desk... and the deal is, "this isn't you Adam, you're not dumb," go back to 3.0 Adam."

If we learned anything yesterday it is that KF has universal standards and different expectations for individuals. Which I think is pretty smart.

I'm sure it's academics, Ferentz said something like: just hasn't cleaned up some things we've discussed, going all the way back to the Ohio State game. I figure it might be slipping (but no ineligible) grades, skipping some classes, etc.

All I am saying is that I respect a coach for holding out a player due to academics when the player is in fact eligible to play.

Cyclones 17 would not be eligible to play because they are illiterate.

I thought the fact that KF referred to Hampton's transfer as "mutual" was interesting. JH was suspended for one game this season for conduct, maybe he had another conduct issue after his injury.
