Good read. From article:

While many scouts marveled at his athleticism and quickness coming out of Iowa, others questioned his size and durability to play a 16-game NFL schedule.

“I’ve been overlooked my whole life,â€￾ Daniels said. “I don’t even remember getting any honors when I was in high school. I wasn’t all-state. I wasn’t all-South Jersey. I might have got all-group my senior year, but that would’ve been the extent of the honors. Even in college, the best I got was second-team all-Big Ten from the coaches. I’m used to being overlooked, but I love it like that because I feel that drives me even more to perform and play harder on the field.â€￾

glad to see him getting some PT. dude was a player. violent hands at the line of scrimmage.

How was the transition going from a 4-3 at Iowa to Dom Capers’ version of the 3-4?
“It was pretty difficult. I came from a 4-3, played under front. I just wasn’t used to this — first of all we have a very fast, high-tempo offense, I wasn’t used to that. I played against teams that were like that, but we weren’t necessarily like that, so that was new seeing that every day in practice. It’s a different style of football than what I was used to coming out of college..."

Wow, understatement of the year "we weren't necessarily like that". Just be glad you graduated in '11, Mike! haha
