former Gopher QB in trouble

Too bad he isn't transferring to Florida State. They would have overlooked this, but given that virtually nothing can keep Winston off the field, they don't have any need for a second QB.

Headline: "Jameis Winston caught on tape kicking box of puppies"

Official statement from FSU: "We need to be open to the possibility the puppies had it coming."

Awful. Hope this young man recovers. Whatever they were fighting about, I am willing to bet it looks like a dumb reason to endanger a life.

I saw it happen, it wasn't pretty. Nelson kicked the kid in the head, from what i've heard is Kolstad has permanent brain damage.

Already had one surgery to put a pressure gage in his head.

You were there? Wow. Sounds like this kid is in serious condition. And Nelson is looking at prison time.

He was one of the best college football quarterbacks I had ever seen play. Really fearless in the face of adversity, nothing fazed him.

I don't get it, why do people cheer when a linebacker hits the quarterback from his blind side? But then the quarterback sneaks up behind the linebacker of a division 2 team in Mankato at two in the morning with one of his friends and its somehow different?

Liek #2

Doctors state that Kolstad has suffered permanent brain damage and what is really sad is he has a wife, a 3 year old son and another baby on the way.

Ugh. The government is too soft on these kinds of crimes. If you beat someone up and give them severe brain damage, they'll never be the same. Your punishment should be on par with second degree murder.
