Forcier possibly Leaving Michigan

Kids out, could be a big loss for michigan.

Michigan quarterback Tate Forcier: 'All you need to know is I'm out'

"As the rest of his teammates celebrated a win, Forcier looked like he lost. He spent most of the game sitting on the bench, a towel alternating between his shoulders and wrapped around his head as he watched fellow sophomore quarterback Denard Robinson run through, over and past a fairly hapless Connecticut defense.

In those moments, Forcier looked like he wanted to be anywhere but Michigan. After the win, he went straight up the tunnel. He was the third person spotted out of the Michigan locker room, hugged a few people and began to walk off.

He blew off fans attempting to get autographs, instead jumping on his cell phone and searching for family and friends."

Re: Forcier Leaving Michigan

I didn't really having your third string QB quit was a HUGE loss. I can understand where you're coming from, but I think he realized he wasn't going to play, so he wants to go somewhere he will.

Re: Forcier Leaving Michigan

His dad once again is saying Tate isn't transferring. It's a when, not if situation....

He should transfer, no reason to act the way he did on the sideline, not a huge loss when he is 3rd string. He is not the ideal QB for Rich Rod and I was shocked he went there to begin with.
There are a lot of rumors that he is not in the best academic standing either. He didn't dedicate himself in the offseason and he is paying for it. Forcier should cut his losses and go play in a different system and be a quality player for another program.

Shouldn't you be gloating over on the Marshall board?

What happened to the post on here a couple weeks ago that said he had already asked for his release and was leaving?

Stupid me...it sounded like a done deal and I've been telling people that he left. Then I saw him on the sideline today and realized so many on here are worthless piles of garbage and now I sound stupid.

BTW, I know I'm the stupid one for believing anything I read on here. lol

Re: Forcier Leaving Michigan

no I'm saving my gloating for the Hurrigangstas board about this time next week.

Correct answer. :)
Did you see the clip of the brawl in the stands, taken during the cryami game?
There is no "U" in classy. Nor in civilized. :D

yeah I saw it, "Da U" has very few fans to begin with, most of the ones I've seen are absolute trash. I will be sick to my stomach if OSU loses to Miami....I HATE Miami....

from a reporter that spoke with Forcier's dad...

"As Tate's father, and someone who would advise him, a transfer isn't something I want to be a part of. Sometimes you think, man, do they want him there, but we don't think that's the situation. Rich Rodriguez has also been straight with us."

"Tate knows Michigan is the biggest and best stage out there. I know he has mixed emotions, but this is in his blood."

"He was feeling a little like a caged animal on the sidelines. He knew the cameras were on him, and that they were looking for an emotional reaction, so he was trying to hide his face with the towel. He was not pouting. The cameras kept prodding, and egging him on, so he got upset about it."

"This is a good growing experience. The way I see it, it's a long season. You saw today that they're going to need two quarterbacks. The Big Ten schedule is a tough schedule."

"We knew some disciplinary actions were coming down the pipe, so we kind of saw some things that others didn't. Not everyone knows and sees everything that goes on on the inside."

"This is like a boxing match, and the advice I give him is ride it out baby, ride it out. Those who stay will be champions."

"I talked to him after the game briefly, and I think we're ok. All I want to do is think positive of this. Tomorrow is a new day for him."

"I really think Rich Rodriguez is trying to make a true leader out of him on and off the field. Again, no one sees everything that goes on inside. Tate is a competitive, emotional kid that was having mixed emotions. He was happy as hell that they won, but upset he couldn't be in the game."

No need to worry. NO WAY the Buckeyes fall to those posers. Simply not going to happen.

It sounds to me like there may be some sort of behind the scenes disciplinary stuff going on. Tate's father has always been pretty forthcoming with things and it has always been the case that he thinks highly of Rich Rod. I think if he didn't he would remain silent. There have been issues with Tate ranging from academics to leadership to making the effort in the offseason. If you watched DR today compared to last year you can see that he has obviously put in the work. If he stays healthy he will be one of the most explosive players in the country.

I don't think Tate will transfer this year. It doesn't make sense at this point. Could he next year? Certainly.

I've really come to dislike Forcier from what little we've seen of him in a year and a half. The stupid website, his general lack of fire all spring and fall camp, and now that he's not starting he's going to leave. Maybe if he'd spent as much time trying to improve as Robinson obviously did, he'd be the starting QB. Robinson was like a completely different player from last October.
