For those who have been to several college stadiums...

by "better tailgating" what ISU fans mean is "we have really big parking lots". Not the same as the vibe you get around Kinnick... not even close. As with everything else.

As for the stadiums... Lots of great stuff in the Big Ten. I'd rank em

1. Kinnick (it's home, but still top 5)
2. Madison (as long as you don't meet the angry drunks)
3. Penn St (pre-pedo)
4. OSU
5. Michigan (big but not that intense)
6 Mich St (never been, but they're top half)
7. Nebraska (never been, top half)
---------------------
8. Purdue
9. Minnesota (Dome was a dump, but Wiscy and Iowa owned it..which was fun)
10. Illinois ( 2 hours from Chicago..and no following. and the stands are a couple of blocks from the field)
11. Indiana (nice improvements, but field a team and fill it)
12. NWestern embarrassing

What strikes me about so many out-of-conference places I've been... is how much of a "high school" feel they have. Jack-off Trice would be near the top of that list. Really bush league vibe. A recent vote of Big 12 players bears that out.
