I have posed this question before and never got much response. I am sure you know a lot of media people. Why does the media usually defend the cheaters. Most of the time they think the offenders are punished to harshly. This was the case with USC. I think most people would like to see more severe penalties.

This is not universal hut some ppl that defend theaters r probly cutting corners themselves. Not all but some for sure
