Football Questions for 8/5 Mailbag Pod Here Please

objectively, since i know he's a common whipping boy; brian ferentz has put new wrinkles into the iowa offense (see the game against usc). What new wrinkles are you expecting or hoping for this year in Iowas offense?

2nd: do you get the feeling phil parker does or doesn't have interest in being a head coach someday?

How does Seth Wallace not get fired for calling a student athlete Simple Jack, and the outright breaking of a FERPA law by disclosing an athlete’s GPA to teammates, when all of us know that a professor would get walked out of the building the same day for doing that?

I’ll donate $100 to the children’s hospital with proof if you ask KF that question verbatim—on camera—during a presser. I’m dead serious.

Bonus $50 if you follow that question up with, “Kirk, is there a different standard for football coaches versus the rest of the University of Iowa’s employees?”

There’s $150 on the table right now for sick kids in IC. Take my money.

Not defending Wallace, but I remember three profs I had at Iowa that would read off a person's test result as they handed them back. As far as I know none of them were walked out of the building by security.
Granted there was no name calling, but if someone wanted to they could have figured out everyone's grade.

In 2020, if a professor or anyone else did what Wallace did, they’d be fired. Fact.

Hawk based question (loose affiliation): you got any inside info on when my boy george kittle is gonna get signed by my niners? I'm guessing 5 year 80 million, what you got?

Going to push the pod to tomorrow with the schedules coming out today. More time to get in if you have questions.
