Flyover Video with Nile Kinnick Speech

Here is a video I took from the South stands. It starts with the Kinnick intro and ends with the flyover. Sorry for the shaking but I took video of the tunnel walk and the senior day intro and by this time and hands were numb.

I was there and that Flyover was awesome.

I heard that the pilot from Ankeny shortly before the flyover requested and got permission to go to 500 feet. They were suppose to do flyover at 1,000 feet.

South end zone row 39...the pilot on the left wing winked at me. What was really cool, was seeing the jets coming toward Kinnick about 6-8 seconds before they arrived. The vantage point of this video allowed you to hear the South End Zone crowd start to scream as they see the jets coming in.

This was better than the Penn St flyover, IMO.
