@RobHowe I'm guessing this isn't promising since he hasn't visited?
It was a fair point by Stanzi as typically the Iowa staff wouldn’t take commits from players that hadn’t visited.Hey could you give me the power ball numbers that you think don’t have a chance in hell of being chosen? I kid, I kid.
He and Parks want to play together in college too...Good pickup. Seems like we’ve had a little lull in DB recruiting recently, which is a little surprising. This kid had a lot of P5 offers.
Also his teammate Ricky Parks is Iowa’s top RB target and Iowa is sitting pretty well with him.
This class is in really good shape and we sit well with a few other guys on the top of our board. If we get Fidone it will be icing on the cake, but our TE room is already in great shape. Recruiting has been very good in recent cycles. Pretty exciting.

Interesting. Matt Bain is reporting that he unofficially visited in June. Perhaps he got some inaccurate info or it was a misprint. He told me he has not visited Iowa.
This recruiting class is really starting to shape up despite the virus.
There's been a lot of buzz about Parks mentioned above, as well as Max Llewellyn (could very well be our next verbal), and offensive linemen Joe Alt (hard to see him going anywhere else), Michael Myslinski and Beau Stephens. I don't know how many offensive linemen we'll take in this class, but we are in tight with several really good prospects.
As far as RBs, I saw tape of a kid out of Chicago whom I think we are recruiting, Mar'Keise Irving. Wow. He's lightening in a bottle. No idea where we stand with him, though, but he's really impressive on the field.
On a down note, it looks like Fidone has become a strong Nebraska lean.
