Yes, I lost my Kansas geo-spatial perspective. I thought Manhattan was further west. I haven't been in Kansas since 1970.

It will be interesting to see who Barta goes after. What do people think of UTEP's coach? Or possibly Temple's coach? I am just throwing some names out of teams that have had success recently.
I personally would want to see someone with head coaching experience. I don't know about Eustachy or Floyd or even Kruger (UNLV). These guys have coached in the Big Leagues and know what it is like. Granite the first two were at Iowa State and Kruger was at ILL. I think there are some quality coaches out there that could come into Iowa.
I just don't think Pearl will leave Tenn to come to Iowa. I am sorry, but he has a good thing going at Tenn.
