That's hard to believe. But it just shows how horrible we've been for a very long time. A horrible coach who was allowed to stay too long and another who was even worse brought this program to new lows I never thought I'd see.
I'm excited tonight even though I know we'll soon be brought back to earth, but we're on our way. That's something that we couldn't say in decades.

Doing a quick search it looks like we beat Penn State and Michigan on the road back in 05-06 season.

This isn't accurate. During the '06-'07 season, the Hawkeyes had a 3-game winning streak which contained wins at Michigan and at Minnesota. Perhaps it's the first time since '98 that the Hawks have back to back conference wins and both games were on the road. I'll look into that.

That looks correct. Still, looking back at the past 10 years schedule, we were awful on the road. Looking at those losses at Northwestern and Penn State are painful.
