Fire Greg Davis now or I quit supporting Iowa footballgr

It's not Greg Davis' fault. If we had a competent AD, he would have never allowed KF to hire Greg Davis. Who was on the unemployment line and calling friends to help him find a job.

OK let's get one thing straight. Crying about the freaking timeout on the fg is a complete joke. Had he not called it and they made it you all would be raging fire Ferentz because he didn't freeze the kicker. Come on there are a hundred reasons to be mad besides that crap.

Agreed. I have no problem with that time out, except that it didn't have the desired psychological effect.

Mangenius was also marginally unemplyed but he has managed to revive a moribund offense in Iowa.

My yearly gift ended after 2012. Not coming back until a new coach or big ten title.

I've been a donor and season tickets have been in my family for about 44 years. I'm carefully watching this year, because I may be done.

The athletic department has tons of money, so they won't miss mine.

I really don't like what's going on with the FB program, and our athletic program is at the bottom of the BoneG.

I love the Hawkeyes, and I really think those talented young wide receivers deserve better. We all deserve better. Iowa has an incredibly loyal fanbase, but I think everything has a limit.

Fans will not fill the stadium and donate forever for this ****. 275 yards today. Aqua ******* Velva, man.

I have tried to be patient and supportive of Greg Davis, but he has shown he is the worst offensive coordinator in football. All levels of football. I know pee wee football coaches who could prepare a better game plan and call better plays. ISU can't defend the run, but we continue to call pass play after pass play with the lead and play our worst running back most of the game. Ferentz better fire Davis now or I am done for the season and beyond until Barta fires Kirk.

I gotta agree. Just awful.

Texas fans are doing a big ole "told ya so" dance!

That remains to be seen. But as I have said in another thread, Mangino will take risks that would make Kirk Ferentz cry in his bubble bath. And he'll do it because he knows he can't rely on his talent level to win a conservative game plan.

You are correct but every play call goes through Kirk's headset and he has final say. Kirk has even acknowledged it.

That was true with KOK, and our offense was better back then than it is now. And we certainly were more daring in the passing game.

Iowa needs a total and absolute house cleaning. HC and all assistants and coordinators out the door after this season.

I'll be over here in the corner holding my breath.

I realize my contribution is a drop in the bucket but it's significant to me and how I support the team as I am unable to go to games. However, I no longer support the coach or direction of the program.
