I don't know if Iowa would show any interest in any of these players.

Going to have to land Atwood now. If not, we are in big trouble at that position and will have to either bank the scholarship or get a project. Quite frankly, projects are getting old.

Don't jump the gun. He is visiting iowa state. I wish atwood would make a decision, this would allow fran to go all out after a guy like lee if atwood chooses elsewhere.

Turner--Looked overmatched in the Big Ten by school this year
Abrahamson--3.8 ppg & 35.7% shooting this year; Quick-triggered F; Viewed as a complementary player by Collins.
Johnson--10.6 ppg, 3.2 rpg & 3.7 apg for past 2 years; 10.8 ppg, 41.8% shooting & 30.4% 3's this year; Starting PG.
Poole--6.4 ppg & 2.0 apg before being dismissed this year.
Dejean-Jones--Swingman; 13.6 ppg this year.
Biggs--9.9 ppg before being dismissed this year.

We better hope Atwood as a hell of a visit because Bruce Pearl and Josh Pastner are joining the mix for him. If we are able to keep him, it will be HUGE.

And if we don't land him, we are in big trouble next season at the forward position. Will get absolutely owned down low.
 
Andrew Carrillo ‏@TheDrewster35 I'm hearing Iowa State is heavily involved in former UNLV guard Bryce Jones recruitment. Iowa State was in Rashad Vaughn's final list.

This kid has transferred twice already and been suspended a few times for fighting with team mates. Would be Hoiberg's biggest risk so far. Wish Iowa went after some transfers instead of depend on freshmen projects.
 
I am glad that Iowa didn't go after Bryce Jones. It seems that trouble/problems follow him. That being said, I do think Iowa was in on trying to get Lee from Temple. And last year I recall them going after a transfer from Pepperdine maybe? Not sure where he ended up.

Sounds like a clown recruit to me.
 
Here's some scouting reports on who we've got in the fold as follows:

Brady Ellingson SG: A pure shooter.

Dominique Uhl SF/PF: Has tremendous ball-handling, driving & passing skills for a guy who is a legit 6'9".

Trey Dickerson PG: Is extremely fast with ball & is even more dangerous in transition. To this point, his ball-handling is his biggest attribute, but the shooting is progressing very nicely. With someone that plays as fast as he does, turnovers do happen. He needs to work on playing under control & limit the turnovers.

Hope Willie Atwood PF is the next one in the fold. Wonder if Iowa would add a transfer like Anthony Lee from Temple going to Ohio State. It would be interesting to see if there are going to be any transfers that Iowa would consider.
