Fiedorowicz feeling comfortable in new offense

In this scenario, would it mean that the thinking-hat merely gets transferred from the TE's head to some other position? i.e., now is there a (newly) befuddled player at another position (perhaps the slot receiver) whose assignments aren't as clear-cut anymore?

LOL....thats an excellent question?

I don't really know, the example I gave was is based on the offenses I've been in. I imagine that an offense like Northwestern's would not feature play and formation calls centered around the TE. Their 'call guy' so to speak would probably be a H-back or Super-back or whatever they call it. Maybe the really pass happy offenses have a different order of operations for naming plays and formations.

But pro-style (or relatively pro style) offenses typically start their cadence with a bit of TE direction

Maybe its as simple as Fed liking the fact that Davis cut out a piece of the play book and carved out a specific slice to showcase his talents instead of asking Fed to just run what's in front of him whether it fits his talents or not. I'm willing to bet the more talented players really like this concept and this type of respect for the players should even pay dividends in the recruiting side of things.

I dont know, that feels like a bit of a reach......
