typing them as he speaks them..refresh this post every few minutes:

Kirk: Good to get the win Saturday. ISU had a great year last year and it was a great crowd and fortunately we came out ready to play. Time to move on and a tough task with a road trip west...that is one thing to deal with and we are playing an excellent team in Arizona. Had a lot of respect for them last year and left with more. They are a much better team this year. Great challenge and task.

Key for Arob so far:

Like any player you hope they improve year one to two and that ha been the case...has had great blocking first two games and he finishes runs. You have to tackle him; determined.

Q: He came back from ankle last year, show toughness?
A: Toughness has never been an issue...determined and tough. Very quiet person and you hardly know he is around the building. When he is on field and competing, and blocks, he is a high energy guy.

To what degree has B10 profile been affected with Michigan being down out of rankings last couple of years vs what it is right now, ppl paying attention to michigan

I dont know if I can answer that. Not aware of those kind of things Things are cyclical in college football. If you look at any program, whether well known or not so much, every program has ups and downs. Last year is evidence. A few teams didn't make bowls last year that traditionally are new years teams. Same when you compare conferences. Eveyrone thought B10 sky was falling in 2002 and we had four teams in Top 13...year ago had a strong showing too...

Status of Norm Parker & mobile QB's leading league in total offense can you see yourself recruiting that kind of player and do you see league move in that direction

If there are two now then it must be moving that way. You try to recruit the best you can by position. We are not QB run by design but if a guy could we would utilize it. Our playbook is not that fixed...just recruit the best we can and do what suits their skills. Bottom line most coaches and programs try to win. GT probably wouldnt recruit a guy unless he could run...that is what they do

As far as Norm goes...he is diabetic, and he is under care right now and doubtful he will be with us this week

AZ outscore 93-8

That's all? It has been two slaughters. We know that. This team was really good last year...very impressed with them. Their change at QB after our game and went on and had a great season. We were more concerned about a running QB last year and they have changed the design now they will throw it. Foles has done a great job leading team and they are impressive so far this year on defense too.

Anything specific Foles

He is a good decision maker, quick in operation and accurate. Good guys to get ball to, veteran offensive line well conceived scheme...

General travel west thoughts?

It would be tough not to acknowledge it...will do normal routine...will do our Friday night meetings on Saturday...we had a few practice later than normal in camp...its going to affect the coaches more than player. We are all in bed by 9pm.

How not having Norm affect your preparation?

We are better with our best players as a team, and Norm is a critical cog. Right now, it won't work that way. It was that way last week too. The good news is that we have a veteran staff that have worked extremely well together and everyone takes more responsibility and get the job done. We would all prefer him to be with us and hope he is back soon

Maybe it's how you wrote it, but it didn't sound like Kirk was as optimistic about Norm as he was after the game on Saturday.
