As some sort of positional coach and recruiting coordinator. Love this guy. He recruits some great talent, especially in Florida, and under his term he had ONE player arrested at Miami. He could recruit top talent from Southeast that is also disciplined and well educated.

He goes 7-5 and paid much less than Ferentz. Kirk Ferentz better feel fortunate he is at Iowa.

I thought of the same thing. Norm NEEDS to retire after this season. And you have to remember, as DC Randy Shannon had some of the most ridiculous defenses you'll find. He runs a fun D to watch play.

However, that means that Queen Kirk would have to change his damn philosophy.

All this experience and talent on offense, and we looked like crap after the MSU game. That isn't just 'execution' on the part of players, but more and more I think it comes down to the coaching and teaching of the players, to the point that it is often to their detriment.
