I bet if you worked 80 hour weeks (especially during time or year this was being mulled) you'd have a hard time remember where you left your coffee mug that alone this. I'd hope he was paying attention to getting team ready and recruiting.

I absolutely didn't get that from this interview AT ALL and there were several reports that differ with that opinion in the mid 2000's. You got that because he didn't divulge who? IMO, KF deflects and plays the humble/self depreciating card constantly. I also wouldn't think he's someone who embellishes things or at least I can't recall that kind of thing. IMO, if he says he had opportunities, he did.

Very good interview by KF, he politely diffused the Ed Cunningham issue somewhat linking CTE with CJ playing too long in the bowl game. I would have liked Eisen to ask a little more about this years hawks.

Interesting Harbaugh and KF connection back on the 1998 Ravens that I was not aware of.

He was replaced by Cowherd. Love him or hate him Cowherd moves the needle, even in central Iowa.

I think KF would be a great interview vs a good one if he didnt drone on in such a monotone. Damn he gets difficult to listen to.

Rich Eisen is one of the best interviewers ever.

Eisen is one of the few guys that still acts like a pro, instead of a self-serving tool. Always liked him.
