Why even pass the ball at all, against the wind, with 11:00 left in the 4th quarter, with a ten point lead and you're driving...IN THEIR TERRITORY?! You have both A-Rob and Coker. Keep it on the ground...burn the clock...score. Is it really that difficult??

That's what p!sses me off. Either the staff called an absolutely dumb-@ss play, or, RS changed it IMO.

Run-the-damm-ball in that situation.

Normally the staff is ultraconservative and does exactly what you suggested. And they always get criticized for it. Specifically the blame is deflected from Kirk onto KOK.

Traditions... Iowa's defensive tradition against a spread or one on one offense is average at best.

Some Hawk fans are going to put their trust in this tradition of Iowa's against the spread or OOOO while they blown up the message boards and blame the offense.

Some of you guys are saying the offense better be prepared to pick up the slack. That it's not the defenses's fault. I can't relate.
