From article:

He promoted assistant coach Phil Parker to the defensive coordinator spot, and went out and hired Greg Davis for the offensive coordinator job. He added his son, Brian, to the staff as an assistant coach, as well as another former player, LeVar Woods.

Just like that, all was well again. A program that was unpredictable - dare we say, maybe a little stale - suddenly had a new look.

And even Ferentz admitted on Friday that a little change can do some good.

"The whole idea is for us to grow and move forward, get some new ideas," Ferentz said. "We look at things differently than maybe we have in the last 13 years."

There's a new energy, Ferentz said, although there was an adjustment process.

When people finally start complaining, you change your assistant coaches. SOP for head coach.

The new energy is really apparent in how energized everyone is this offseason, the kinetic energy just can't be stopped. The fans are so energetic they can't wait for the season to start with so much energy. Ive seen Ferentz energized before, but never with this much energy.

You can see how it affects a current group of athletes. A whole new staff comes in and reenergizes the organization. A fresh new approach. I hope the KF learns from it and every few years or so shakes up the staff.

I CANT DESCRIBE HOW ENERGIZED I AM RIGHT NOW AFTER READING THAT THE COACHING STAFF IS ENERGIZING ITSELF WITH SO MUCH ENERGY!!!!!!

Well, the energy will leak out fast if we go 5-7. Captain Kirk, we need some wins, particularly early in the season.
