It's a fair question though. KF has had the teams that COULD have won a championship. The Banks team had Banks had more experience against ISU could have been playing for one. The 09 team wasn't far off. This years team beats PSU, and wins out would have a resume close to what any NC winner would have.

Dude, we have three losses. You can make a case for NW, even MSU. The team that barely lost to Penn State barely resembles the team that crushed O$U. The team that lost to MSU and NW was the "2008 Syndrome" recipient for this year.

Apropos of nothing...what if a software engineer from Iowa State created a bot that would hang around this message board and frequently post strings of words that seem like they should have meaning, but upon further inspection are just a bunch of random bs? As an ISU fan, the bot would obviously also be programmed to intersperse words/phrases/topics which are likely to irritate Hawkeye fans. This would be something like the New Age BS Generator combined with Microsoft's Twitter Bot, but with more football jargon thrown in. That would be a great prank.
