Win against a coach who has won a National Championship...
Meyer
Saban
Paterno
Chizik lol

Anybody else?

Man, just letting the hate flow. Are you incapable of even saying one nice thing about KF, even after that beatdown of OSU?

It's a fair question though. KF has had the teams that COULD have won a championship. The Banks team had Banks had more experience against ISU could have been playing for one. The 09 team wasn't far off. This years team beats PSU, and wins out would have a resume close to what any NC winner would have.

Haters gotta hate.

For a balanced discussion: list the coaches that have these notches.

The guy is a good coach with serious flaws and tendency toward boring and yet unpredictable. The fan base has been emotionally abused by his success, failures, unpredictability, and predictability. He has given us incredible highs and lows.

Hox News. Fair and Balanced....

I'm not saying we all have to be sunshine, rainbows, unicorns, puppies and kittens about everything based off of one win in one season. But there are some times in life where it's okay to turn off the turd-throwing for at least a little bit of time.

But let me turn the question 90 degrees here. How easy is it to win an NC when your conference has had multiple coaches who have already won NC's? Through his tenure at Iowa, he has beaten most of these coaches with a greater degree of regularity than one might expect. Just look at PSU. Kirk Ferentz had Paterno's number basically ALL the time. And that dude (as poor of a human being as he was) knew a little something about winning championships. How many times did Iowa spoil their shot at an NC under Ferentz. What about last year against Harbaugh?

No, life in Iowa under KF isn't perfect, and we are no Alabama. But Nick Saban did leave MSU for a reason, and that's the fact that the Big Ten is a damned hard place to coach successfully. And the money. And probably the money. Mostly the money.

You range from good points to absolute tripe. In the same sentence. Or not.

I don’t know if I agree completely or disagree completely but I think I agree with some of it. Not the tripe though.

Would anyone trade the whole list for KF being one himself?
Well, duh. Like asking if anyone would trade their handful of $4 Power Ball winners for one jackpot.

That said, the list of Kings that the Hawks have felled during Kirk's reign is pretty damn impressive.

Bingo! You got most of it. Now just understand the tripe part is KF along with the good. The guy is so darned good and a bit bad at the same time. He's conservative and unpredictable. Its hard to make sense out of it. He's like looking at the pic and you can see an ugly woman and yet in the same pic she's beautiful. Much of the ugly is tripe.

But which most? Great but serious flaws. Unpredictably unpredictable. Beautiful and ugly at same time.
Smartly dopey?
