Feels like opening day

Its been a long time since the Hawks have played. We've seen what we've seen. We expect a new QB (for part of the time), we're hoping for something different. Just a lot of anticipation about what to expect. agree?

Not totally, I think we have seen a pretty solid defense. DLine and Raider package can get pressure on QB and sacks. Solid against the run and seem to get better against run as game goes on. If they are stout against indiana's run game from the beginning that bodes well. Above avg lbkr play.

Pass coverage been good since first game and 2nd half of ISU when we tried to play contain. Dont think they are going to play containment much more.

We can throw the ball and we have found out we are not a great running team sort of as usual.

Unknowns are whether the run game can get better, if Koehn can keep hitting FGs and other special teams play.

Agree, these next two games are huge. I just get that feeling. If we can somehow win these we have a shot at the West. We can beat Wiscy since they don't have a QB. Even bigger is the QB situation that could determine the next 2.5 years.

Now that you mention it, I do agree. Still as many unknowns as there was on opening day.

and that never usually is a good recipe for success, especially saying that entering game #6.

Iowa a very average team with a below average schedule.

After hitting a clutch 51 yarder with the confusion factor in a tight game, I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt and say he just had a bad day one game this year.

It does seem like a long time ... and a strange season so far. The good news is there is only one team in the B1G West in front of us and that is the Mildcats. Long way to go. Let's score some points tomorrow.

I guess it kind of does feel like that. the good news is, we have a 4-1 head start. The 4 didn't look as good as we wanted, and the 1 was about as annoying as possible ... but, just win tomorrow, then worry about winning next week. All will be fine.

It feels like Christmas, New Years, Honukah, Halloween, Easter, Fat Tuesday, and my birthday all at once. Indiana game only comes around once a year. This could be Greg Davis' last game against the Hoosiers. Enjoy it while it lasts.
