Some great coaches out there both past and present. If you could go back in time or pick your favorite current coach to bring us a national powerhouse team, who would it be?

My vote would be Lefty Driesell (Lute a close second).

Lefty left Maryland in 1986 after the Len Bias death and inquiry into student athlete drugs. They also tell about how in 1973 he helped save 10 kids from a burning building in Bethany Beach. Folks can make their own conclusions on his legacy.

John Wooden, without a doubt. Man of extremely high character and on top of that he could win. One of the most respected names in all of sports, period. How could you not want him running your program.

You'd be crazy not to want John Wooden. Lute Olsen is the coach that most often makes me think about "what could have been".
