Fast pace, key to beating Badgers

Here I thought the key to ILL beating Wiscy, was Wiscy turning the ball over twice in the 4Q when they had the lead.

It is not a "real" KF win unless we grind it out, allow the opponent to remain close until the end, then kick a field goal to win. Any win bigger than that is just trickery and show boatery.....no room in college football for that, if you can't win like the 56' Steelers than it ain't worth winning.

I’d like to see us in the 4-2-5 defense but bring two safeties up into the box to be a more 4-4-3 look. Keep JT under 100 yds. rushing with no big 20+ yd. gains. Bring the blitz off the ends the entire game cause I’m not concerned with Coan beating us with his arm or legs. Play up tempo on offense and give Tyler Goodson at least 25% of the touches in the first half. Quick drops and move the pocket by Stanley. Look for quick slants across the middle. Run jet sweeps with Goodson to get to the edge. Hit some of our RB out of the backfield on some wheel routes. Look for Sam LaPorta over the middle and on the outside. We haven’t ran a trick play, fake punt or fake field goal yet this year. Is this the game they’ve been waiting to run one? Maybe. Play turnover free on offense and forcing turnovers on defense is a must. After the last two games the Badgers have had, its important to get them chase the ball all over the field. Wear them down by making them cover everything. I’d also use a quick count for first half and then stagger it more in the second half causing them to jump more.
I would guess the Badgers have been working on trick plays all year long, designed for Iowa, waiting for Iowa.

I would make them try to win by passing, and they will probably do the same to us...Stanley's time to shine or flame out. We will also see what BF has under the hood, after many games of OJT. Time for him to earn his keep also. And quit acting like an insolent little beech on the sidelines.
