Northern Illinois vs Fresno State They scanned the crowd late in a tight game or at least the stands. No one there. How much longer can this massive bowl structure last? I can't imagine many Hawk fans attending the Bowl game this year. I suppose the clones will have a good crowd at Pop Tarts as they just follow them anywhere

At least we are going to a "warmer" climate. The Cornhuskers play in the snow

I saw that too. Pathetic attendance numbers. You get two G5 schools with smaller fan bases and this is what you get. You have to wonder what the Boise Chamber of Commerce thinks about this turnout? Is it worth the price of their promotion?

ESPN needs/wants inventory. These bowl games are inventory. Attendance doesn’t matter if you are getting a million or so to watch and X amount to stream it. Empty seats do not look great, but these bowl games are not going anywhere. I can see 10-15 getting eliminated down the road, but they are not going away, at least in my lifetime.
