Fact or Fiction...CJB finishes the year at QB?

How many more hits can this guy take? And some of these hits are on CJB....not just the poor line play. Hopefully Stanley is ready.

He'll finish the year, but Stanley needs to start getting significant reps. He's the future, and since this season is over the future is now.

Get Stanley ready for what? To see him melt down in 3 years.

Fact. He's the starter. No matter how much a starter sucks kf will always play them

If Crosten is still starting next week there will never be hope for any change. I find it borderline impossible that he's the best option. So unfortunate that we finally have a really good qb and we have the worst left tackle of the Ferentz era by far.

fact. CJ is only a coaching staff away from allowing him to lead this team with his arm.

This team really can still turn things around. but the window is closing fast.

Ryan Ward was a 4 star by at least one service. Gotta keep him on the bench like Willies and so many others.

As long as Kirk keeps telling CJ to hang on to the ball until he's positive someone is open he's going to keep getting the hits. KF is so afraid of turnovers that he allows the offense to turn it over on 3 and outs.

Easy. You can bet your house and your kid's college fund that barring injury CJB is our QB for the duration of the 2016 season. This question is a non-starter.

It really makes you wonder what the conversation was while CJ and the coaches watched the ISU film. Everyone who watched the game raved about those throws but Kirk probably scolded him for throwing to someone who wasn't open.

Not sure I'd use Willies as an example anymore. Stats don't support the hype.

Willies was/is immature. But he has talent. Whether his talent can overcome his other shortcomings is yet to be seen. He might end up like countless others with talent who couldn't figure out how to handle success/failure.

Either way, Kirk IMO is guilty of managing the clock and managing talent the same way. See senior QBs under KF for more on this topic.

Srsly tho.
Every time I get excited about what Stanley will do, I think about what Stanley will actually be doing in 4 years under current system.

My son made an interesting comment after the game....he said Kirk has ruined another QB and we might as well play Stanley to get the most out of him we can (before Kirk ruins him).

I think people are being a little hard on a guy who gave us 2015

02 - First year starter
03 - First year starter
04 - First year starter
09 - First year starter
15 - First year starter

Hmmm...the greatest years under KF all have one thing in common.
