Bwahahaha - I love the attendance figure for the Western Michigan game. There were thousands of empty seats at that shootout.
 
Please don't compare this team to 2007 ... that squad was awful, just awful. Still have no clue how they beat Michigan State or Northwestern.

Albert Young was better than Coker ... but that offensive line was much worse than this year's. That team had no good WRs thanks to Dominique Douglas's indiscretions. And the defense was a little above average, but really slow.

Vandenberg is better than Jake Christensen. I don't care how he played last game--it's not even close.
 
What does going to a bowl game have to do with the topic?

Because it occurred in the same season where Iowa beat NW but lost to PSU.
