Sources: Nebraska QB Raiola has broken fibula

Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola suffered a broken right fibula against USC, sources told ESPN, and the sophomore will miss the remainder of the season.

Iowa State's big problem is lack of depth. Personnel quality drops of quite a bit at the 2nd and 3rd level of the depth chart. The injury bug bit hard this year.

After four consecutive losses they might be near the breaking point. TCU may be a fifth consecutive loss.

Tons of injuries in the defensive backfield really buried Iowa State. They never really were going to have a pass rush so then when they lost the corners it was kind of over on defense.

Rocco took a massive hit in the Cincy game and has quite frankly been a shell of himself. I’d love to blame the receivers but he’s missing them by a mile.

Honestly I think they lose the next two at TCU and home against KU, then they’ll need to beat a truly awful OSU team to get bowl eligible.

Yeah, both of those plays were about as close as I've ever seen on replay.

On that one, you see the tip of the left part of the ball hit the forearm causing the ball to elevate slightly on contact. the mid portion of the ball can't be seen in the debris but obviously comes very close to the actual turf.

The question would be whether or not the turf "assisted" in the catch. I think the bounce seen is more from the impact with the left forearm. The belly of the ball may have barely touched the firm part of the turf, but my gut is that the ground didn't help him catch it. Tough break for Florida.
