Every P5 school plays it's IN-STATE P5 rivals every year

NO WAY!!!

Notre Dame hasn't played Purdue since 2014 and hasn't played Indiana since 1991.

Florida hasn't played Miami since 2013. Miami and Florida State are in the same conference, so they play every year. Also, it seems that Florida plays Florida State every year as a non-conference game.

And I'd bet a lot of money on the fact that Texas A&M doesn't play Texas, Baylor and TCU every season now that they are in different conferences.

It seems that P5 teams in the same state that are in different conferences do not necessarily play each other every year.
I did not count ND as one of the 64 P5 teams. I believe they feel they are above any 'conference', and therefore do whatever they want in regards to scheduling. (and would look like fools playing Indy and Purdue, while also scheduling their Temple's, BC's, Miami (OH), Wake's, and Navy's)

Yes, forgot A & M is in $EC now and no longer plays the other TX schools.

Something just occurred to me and you guys can correct me. When the Hawkeyes play the Cyclones in basketball I rarely if ever hear people say, "We should cancel this series." I think this best illustrates when it's okay to play a game for rivalries sake. If the Cyclone football team was on par with their basketball squad, much of this aggravation would go away.
They were on par with their basketball team. I think it was 1912.

The map needs to be adjusted to reflect states where one team is consistently competing at a National Championship level year in year out while the other is just a conference bottom dweller with no real hope of winning anything.

If the Cyclone football team was on par with their basketball squad then KF Hawks would likely have records of 5-13 or 6-12 ---- not 9-9.

The aggravation would be off-the-charts

I know beating a dead horse, but with 9 BIG games (historically, arguably the 2nd best conf in the world), and only 3 OOC games, need a couple 'easier' games.
Iowa plays at least two ISUs in conference every season. That's five "easy" games every season. It's not like the Big10 is a gauntlet.
